Sleeping Bears Dunes National Lakeshore

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore encompasses a 60 km (35 mi.) stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline, as well as North and South Manitou Islands.

Local Businesses Supporting Paddling

Most local businesses that sell boats and equipment hold a spring or early season boat demos where people can paddle different boats and often buy them and/or equipment on sale. Not all businesses have set dates at this time so check the May newsletter and web site (non-CCPAC events) for more dates. You can also contact the businesses to get more details. There are also some early season in-store sales.
